Well, that wraps up my Mortal Kombat Character Recast Meme, for now. There will certainly be a continuation of this, since future Mortal Kombat games are bound to have new characters. Also, keep in mind that Triborg's place in the current MK timeline is currently unknown at this time, since he has never been seen at all, at least storywise. I only included him for completion reasons.

Hercules looks over a ledge in the Netherrealm, he spots Aku fighting Hsien-Ko
Hercules: Is that Aku? Why is an Elder God here in the Netherrealm? It seems as though he needs help!
At the platform, Hsien-Ko has beaten Aku to the ground, he struggles to get up.
Hsien-Ko: How the mighty have fallen! This day is ours! Die, Aku!
Hercules teleports into the platform.
Aku: Hercules!
Hsien-Ko: Where did you come from?
Aku: I am weakened! Son of Thomas Light, you must protect me!
Hercules: Step away from Lord Aku......Now!
Hsien-Ko: You will pay for your interference.
Hercules and Hsien-Ko fight for a while until Hercules emerges victorious.
Aku disappears and reappears standing up.
Aku: Your assistance could have come at a better time, you defended me against the she-demon Hsien-Ko, and for that I am forever grateful.
Hercules: I don't understand. Why did you need my help , Lord Aku? You are an Elder God.
Aku: I am an Elder God no longer. I have been cast down....punished for involving myself in the affairs of mortals. Now I am cursed to preside over this wretched Netherrealm.
Hercules: What could you have done to anger the Elder Gods?
Aku: Boldly asked, as always, Hercules. Perhaps even a former Elder God may be permitted to ask his question first: Why are you here?
Hercules: I'm looking for my brother, Sigma.
Aku: Yes....I remember him, the second son, a machine, both born from the god of logic and science and a nature sorceress, most intriguing descendants. Still, you competed with each other often, you won most of the games, as I recall. But what makes you think he is here?
Hercules: I followed him here. He's been corrupted somehow. I don't know what evil led him to this place, but when I find him, he'll have much to answer for.
Aku: I will help you find him, Hercules, but first I will need to recover my throne. Demons and strange warriors have overrun my sanctuary. Help me clear out the invaders and you will gain my favor. But you must listen to my instructions closely.
