Bio:
Abner Jenkins was a skilled aircraft mechanic. However, he had other plans, constructing a sticky-fingered battle suit with flight capabilities in order to become a master thief. Early run-ins with Spider-Man and Daredevil convinced him that he needed power as well, resulting in a sleeker battle suit with more offensive capabilities and greater strength. Seeking fame, glory and profit, Abe Jenkins spent several years as the armored villain called the Beetle.

Heavy Attack – Beetle charges downward at the opponent while his hands are discharging energy.

Special Attacks:

Electrobite Blast (QCF-Attack): Beetle shoots an Electrobite Blast from his fingertips. There are three versions of this move.

Light: Shoots a projectile, which does the lowest damage.
Medium: Shoots a beam-like blast, which is unblockable.
Heavy: This is the chargeable version. The longer the wait, the more powerful the attack becomes.

Flying Charge (QCB-Attack): Beetle flies towards the opponent. If he connects, he will grab them and throw him/her back down.

Beetle Mine (Down-Forward-Attack): Beetle throws a proximity mine that looks like a beetle. It acts as a hazard. The opponent takes heavy damage if they touch it.

Beetle Drone (Down-Down-Attack): Beetle throws a mini nano-beetle. There are three versions of this move.

Light: This version electrocutes the opponent on contact.
Medium: This version acts as a smoke grenade. It stuns the opponent for a moment.
Heavy: This version releases sleeping gas on his opponent to put them asleep, leaving him/her vulnerable to attack.

Heat-Seeking Missiles (Forward-Down-Forward-Attack): Beetle fires several homing missiles from his weapons systems. He can fire 5 at a time.

Camouflage (Down-Down-Special): Beetle turns invisible via camouflage system for 10 seconds unless he is hit.

Flight (Down-Back-Special): Beetle flies into the air via his mechanical wings by accord.

Hyper Combos:

Mega Electrobite Blast (45 Degrees Upwards X2): Beetle shoots two directed Electrobite Blasts from his fingertips.

Heavy Artillery (Forward-Down-Forward-Attack X2): Beetle shoots a missile at the opponent. If it connects, he/she will be stunned momentarily. Beetle then throws a grenade that sticks to the opponent’s chest. It then explodes, launching him/her into the air. Beetle then finishes the move by firing several heat-seeking missiles.

Aerial Assault (Back-Down-Back-Attack X2): Beetle charges towards the opponent, grabs him/her, and flies high into the air with him/her. He then grabs the opponent by the neck and swipes them out of his grip, followed by shooting him/her with an Electrobite Blast. He then flies towards them, grabs them, and throws them back on the ground. Finally, he flies down towards the opponent headfirst and smashing onto his/her ribcage.

Ending:

(The Beetle is seen in an underground laboratory somewhere on Planet Zebes. He is then approached by several Space Pirates, led by Sylux. Before they could kill him, Beetle explains the following.)

The Beetle: “I am aware that you have a vendetta against the bounty hunter known as Samus Aran. I have a vendetta against someone by the name of Spider-Man.”

(The Space Pirates lower their claw-like arms as they listen.)

Sylux: “Your point?”

The Beetle: “Your technology fascinates me. It will give me the upper hand to be rid of that blasted, wall-crawling idiot. If we work together, I guarantee you that I will help you kill Samus Aran.”

(Sylux realizes the resourcefulness of the scheming human. Seeing as both share a common goal in life, Sylux agrees to his offer.)

Sylux: “All right, Jenkins. You’ve got a deal.”

The Beetle: “You’ve made the right choice, Sylux.”

(For months, the two criminals made horrific experiments to combat Spider-Man and Samus. They consisted of Cyborg Space Pirates, Zombie Space Pirates, and even Space Pirates infused with Phazon energy. After months of preparing, they head to Earth via teleporter, where they encounter Spider-Man and Samus.)

Spider-Man: “Beetle?!”

Samus Aran: “Sylux?!”

The Beetle: “That’s right! I happened to run into someone who was willing to help me out.”

Spider-Man: “What’s your game, Beetle?”

The Beetle: “HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! You just wait and see!”

(The Beetle and Sylux reveal their new army to Spider-Man and Samus, much to their shock.)

Samus Aran: “An army of Space Pirates of different kinds? You’re insane, Beetle!”

The Beetle: “Ingenious, isn’t it, Ms. Aran?”

Samus Aran: “You disgust us, freakshow!”

The Beetle: “There’s no stopping us now! This battle will be our last!”
