Debut: Tales of Suspense #93 (1967)
Voice Actor: Wally Wingert

Bio:
Average technician George Tarleton found his fate forever changed thanks to a random selection by his boss, the Scientist Supreme of A.I.M., who needed a unique, bio-engineered “living computer” in order to plumb the mysteries of the Cosmic Cube. Tarleton was subjected to hideous experiments, mutating his body into a massive-headed being possessing superhuman intelligence and extraordinary psionic powers, and the process drove him mad. Given the code-name M.O.D.O.C. ("Mental Organism Designed Only for Computing"), Tarleton instead turned on his superiors, slaying them all and declaring himself Scientist Supreme. Moreover, he changed his name to M.O.D.O.K., with the “K” standing now for “Killing.”

Medium Attack – M.O.D.O.K. fires several bullets from a small armament.
Heavy Attack – M.O.D.O.K. shoots a small, short-ranged beam.
Launcher – M.O.D.O.K. fires a blast that sends the opponent flying upward.

[Crouching]
Light Attack – M.O.D.O.K. kicks the opponent.
Medium Attack –M.O.D.O.K. fires a projectile at the opponent.
Heavy Attack – M.O.D.O.K. fires fumes from his Doomsday Chair.

[Air]
Light Attack – M.O.D.O.K. kicks the opponent.
Medium Attack – M.O.D.O.K. fires an energy beam at the opponent.
Heavy Attack – M.O.D.O.K. strikes the opponent with the fumes of his Doomsday Chair.

Special Attacks:

Battering Ram (Any Direction-Attack-Air Combo): M.O.D.O.K. dashes and flies towards his opponent in any direction: up, down, and across.

Psionic Blaster (Down-Down-Forward-Attack): M.O.D.O.K. fires a beam of pure telepathic energy that burns all in its wake. A stronger version can be fired if collected data is sacrificed.

Analysis Cube (Down-Down-Back-Attack): M.O.D.O.K. summons a scientific virtual cube and when it hits its opponent, their energy is drained into the LED on M.O.D.O.K.'s forehead to increase the power of his Psionic Blaster.

Barrier (Forward-Down-Light): M.O.D.O.K. summons a shield that serves as a defensive attack. Sacrificing collected data can make bigger shields.

Balloon Bomb (Forward-Down-Down-Attack): M.O.D.O.K throws a bomb with random properties upon detonation. If collected data is sacrificed, it can cause the opponent's controls to be scrambled when hit by the bomb.

Hyper Combos:

Hyper Psionic Blast (Down-Down-Forward-Attack X2): M.O.D.O.K. fires a telepathic beam of energy to the opponent. Works in tandem with Analyze Cube, and releases "collected data" in the form of a beam. The more "data" has been collected, the more hits the beam deals, and the stronger it gets. However, unlike its regular version, the power of both attacks go back to normal after using it.

Hyper Battering Ram (Down-Down-Back-Attack X2): M.O.D.O.K. travels at quick speeds and rams the opponent. Tapping the light punch button can lengthen the durability of the attack. It can also increase in strength if M.O.D.O.K. has hits with Analysis Cubes.

Killer Illumination (Forward-Down-Down-Attack X2): M.O.D.O.K. grabs the opponent with mechanized power cord tentacles and lifts them, frying them with surges of electricity, throwing them into the ground upon finishing.

Ending:

(M.O.D.O.K. is seen back at A.I.M., with his workers bringing him something trapped in a sphere-like object, which turns out to be Giygas now reverted back to his infant stages. Looking humorously at it, M.O.D.O.K. asks the following.)

M.O.D.O.K.: “What do you think of this?”

A.I.M. Agent 1: “As you requested, sir. It’s now what appears to be Giygas in an infant state.”

M.O.D.O.K.: “Oooh. I’ve been waiting for this.”

A.I.M. Agent 1: “Um, M-M-M.O.D.O.K…?”

A.I.M. Agent 2: “Oh…My…”

(Scene changes to the infant Giygas, who is now out of the sphere-like object, intimidating the A.I.M. agents.)

M.O.D.O.K.: “Hahaha! So tell me, fellas…What do you think of our new little friend here?”

A.I.M. Agent 2: “Well, sir… He’s, um…”

M.O.D.O.K.: “Quit stammering and give me an answer! Does he deserve a place in A.I.M.? And be honest. I promise I won’t kill you.
It's back to the Marvel side once again. This time, it's none other than Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing, aka M.O.D.O.K.

Notes and Trivia:
  • In his post-match victory text against Dark Samus, M.O.D.O.K. is obviously referencing the Space Pirates dangerous ways of energizing their experiments with Phazon to create stronger individuals (ex. Elite Pirates and Omega Pirate).
  • His ending is the same as his Marvel vs. Capcom 3 ending, except Galactus's helmet is replaced with an infant version of Giygas.

Love how you made M.O.D.O.K show no mercy on Porky Minch. Fitting on seeing how he is.
